Paradisus Los Cabos (Adults Only), San Jose del Cabo

The hotel offers mixed experiences with nicely taken care of rooms being a highlight but with some musty smells present. The service stands out with attentive staff, particularly in the Royal Service Lounge and from the Butler. The location provides great beach access, but some areas show signs of age. The dining experience offers exceptional buffets but could use refinement in certain dishes.

During my stay, the hotel was incredible. The room with a swim-up pool connected to the adults-only pool was above average and provided a sense of exclusivity. However, no one seemed to notice us during our five days there. The service was exceptional, with a special shoutout to Rodrigo, Irving, Kenia, Yordi, Sergio, Carlos, and Celso who were always friendly and helpful without being pushy. The location was perfect, situated between SJD and Cabo San Lucas, offering beautiful surroundings and plenty of activities. On the downside, the dining experience lacked variety and had long wait times. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at the hotel was truly enjoyable and worth the money.

Although we didn't get the true ocean view we hoped for in the rooms, the lobby team and Tayza desk were extremely helpful in arranging an alternate stay at their resort. The hotel has a tropical-desert aesthetic with well-maintained grounds, offering a serene location away from the crowds. The dining experience was pleasant overall, especially at the adults-only Palapa.
